We are delighted to announce that six of our wines were awarded medals in the annual Finger Lakes International Wine & Spirits Competition held in Upstate New York, and the Ohio Wine Competition held in Northeast Ohio.
Five wines were awarded at the Ohio Wine Competition. Riesling and Lake Hope Rosé were awarded Gold Medals, Honeysuckle white blend took home a Silver Medal and Pinot Grigio and Vidal Blanc achieved Bronze Medals.
Three wines were awarded in competition at the Finger Lakes International Wine & Spirits Competition. Our Riesling, Pinot Grigio and Sauvignon Blanc won Bronze Medals (pictured below).
2021’s achievements mark a total of 13 wines awarded at this competition over the last 4 years, and the 16th overall award in competition for Hocking Hills Winery.
“We are thrilled to have our wines recognized in competition for the fourth year in a row” said CEO, Blaine Davidson. “This year’s entries were unique in that some were crafted by me as the former winemaker, and some were crafted by Ryan Scott, our new winemaker that joined our team in late 2020. At Hocking Hills Winery, we strive to bring our visitors the highest quality wine selections and these awards validate that goal. We are looking forward to seeing what award season will bring to Hocking Hills Winery in 2022.”
Hocking Hills Winery crafts all their wines on site in Hocking County Ohio, and is family owned and operated.
